Transportation

Students typically travel to Our Mother of Consolation by car, school bus, or by foot if they live in the neighborhood.

Weather permitting, students in grades K-8 assemble in the school yard for the morning bell at 8:12am.  Students line up by grade and the teachers lead them into school to their classrooms.  In the event of rain or freezing weather, students go directly to their classroom or wait in the Music Room until their teacher arrives.

Grades K-2 dismiss at the end of the day at 2:50; grades 3-8 dismiss at 3:00. Students are escorted to car, bus and “walking” lines by the teachers who make sure that students use the correct transportation.

School bus arrangements should be made through your school district of residence. Currently, students utilize school buses from Philadelphia, Springfield Township and Cheltenham Township.
